Welcome to Sleep & Stress — read before posting (education only, no protocols)

Welcome to the Sleep & Stress corner of the forum. This is where people talk about sleep quality, calm, and resilience, and where two peptides come up a lot in the research literature: DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide) and Selank. This is a place to learn and to compare notes, not a place to get a treatment plan.

A few ground rules so the category stays useful and stays online. No dosing protocols or dose calculations for a specific person. No 'what should I take for my insomnia' threads — we can't and won't answer those. No sourcing, vendor links, or discount codes. No reconstitution or injection how-tos. Personal experiences are welcome, but frame them as your own anecdote, not advice for anyone else.

One more thing worth repeating in every thread: the human evidence for most of these peptides is thin. A lot of what gets cited is animal work or small, old studies. If you're dealing with real sleep or anxiety problems, please talk to a qualified clinician — that's not a disclaimer we paste on for legal reasons, it's genuinely the most useful step for most people.

If a post crosses a line the mod team will edit or remove it, usually with a note explaining why. Ask questions, be kind, cite things when you can.

Appreciate the clarity up front. The 'no protocols' rule is what keeps these forums from turning into a mess, so thanks for stating it plainly.

Could we get a pinned reading list of the actual primary studies at some point? Would save a lot of repeated 'source?' replies.

Good idea — I'll start a separate resource thread and link the DSIP and Selank literature we can find, with notes on sample sizes and how old each study is. It'll be clearly marked as education, not endorsement.

Not medical advice. Content on peptides.cx is an educational and community resource. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, dosing instruction, or emergency support. Always consult a qualified medical professional before making health-related decisions.
