Welcome to the Cognitive & Focus category. This is the place to discuss the science, history, and personal experiences around peptides that are researched for cognition — Semax, Selank, Cerebrolysin, Dihexa, Pinealon, and others in that space.

A few ground rules so this stays useful and stays online. This is an educational community, not a source of medical advice. Please do not post or ask for dosing protocols, dose calculations for a specific person, "what should I take," stack requests, sourcing, vendor links, or reconstitution/injection tutorials. Share experiences as personal anecdote only — never as a recommendation for someone else. When you cite an effect, try to note whether it's from a study, an animal model, or your own impression, because the human evidence here is often thin.

For anything touching your actual health, please talk to a qualified professional who knows your history. Threads that stay curious, cite sources where possible, and stay honest about uncertainty tend to be the ones people come back to. Glad you're here.

Appreciate the clear framing. The "is this a study, an animal model, or a vibe" distinction is honestly the single most useful habit this space could adopt. So much of the cognition literature is rodent work that never replicated in humans, and people quote it like it's settled.

Suggest we also encourage linking PubMed IDs where possible. Makes it way easier to check whether a claim is a real finding or forum telephone.

As a newcomer this is reassuring. I've seen other forums where every thread turns into a shopping list. Nice to have somewhere focused on the actual mechanisms and the honest "we don't really know yet."

Not medical advice. Content on peptides.cx is an educational and community resource. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, dosing instruction, or emergency support. Always consult a qualified medical professional before making health-related decisions.
