READ FIRST: How to report an adverse reaction here (and what this forum is not)

Welcome to Safety & Side Effects. This category exists so members can share adverse-reaction experiences in a structured, useful way. A few ground rules before you post.

When you report a reaction, please include: the compound (generic name), roughly how long you'd been using it, the reaction you experienced, how long it lasted, and whether it resolved. Do NOT post dosing protocols, dose math for yourself or others, sourcing, or reconstitution/injection how-tos. Those posts get removed. Frame everything as personal anecdote, not advice.

Critically: this forum is educational and is not a substitute for medical care. Nobody here can diagnose you. If you're describing something that could be an emergency (chest pain, trouble breathing, facial swelling, fainting), stop reading forums and contact emergency services or a clinician now.

The evidence base for many of these compounds is thin, and anecdote is not data. Treat individual reports as hypotheses to raise with a qualified professional, not conclusions.

Appreciate the structured format request. It's genuinely hard to compare reports when half of them leave out timeline and whether the thing actually resolved. Bookmarking the template.

Would it be worth adding a line for 'did you stop, and did it recur on re-exposure'? Rechallenge info is often the most informative part of these anecdotes, even if it's just one person's experience.

Good suggestion, added to the pinned template. To be clear though, we're not encouraging anyone to deliberately re-expose themselves to something that caused a bad reaction. If it happened by accident and you noted it, that's useful context to share.
