Welcome to Research & Evidence. This is the corner of the forum for reading papers closely, arguing about mechanisms, and being honest about what we actually know. A few ground rules and a short primer.
Rules: This is an educational space, not medical advice. No dosing protocols, no 'what should I take,' no sourcing or vendor links. Share personal experience as anecdote, never as a recommendation. If a health decision is on the table, that is a conversation for a qualified clinician who knows your history.
A quick appraisal checklist when someone posts a study: (1) Was it in humans, animals, or a dish? A lot of exciting peptide data is rodent or in-vitro and does not automatically transfer. (2) Sample size and controls, was it randomized and blinded? (3) Who funded it and did they sell the compound? (4) Are the outcomes things people care about or surrogate markers? (5) Has anyone replicated it? For most peptides the honest answer to 'what does the evidence say' is 'less than the marketing implies.' Post papers, ask hard questions, and cite your sources.
