[Study Request] Looking for controlled trials on Thymosin Beta-4 and cardiac repair

Trying to build an honest evidence file on Thymosin Beta-4 for tissue/cardiac repair. I've found the preclinical angiogenesis and cardioprotection work in animal models, but I'm specifically hunting for anything in humans, ideally registered or completed controlled trials rather than mechanistic reviews.

If anyone has run down the clinical-stage status of TB4 (or its fragments) I'd love pointers to primary sources. Reviews welcome too, as long as they're clear about what's animal vs human.

Just assembling the literature, not asking what to do with any of it.

From what I've gathered, TB4 has genuinely interesting preclinical cardiac data (epicardial activation, angiogenesis in rodent infarct models) but human clinical translation has been slow and limited. There have been early-phase efforts in areas like dry eye and wound healing that reached humans, but robust controlled cardiac-repair efficacy data in people is not something I've been able to point to.

So the map looks similar to a lot of this space: solid animal mechanism, sparse human efficacy. If you find a completed human cardiac RCT, please post it, I'd genuinely like to see it.

Appreciate it. That matches what I was finding and I was worried I'd just missed a big trial. I'll keep the file organized as 'animal: substantial, human: minimal' and note the non-cardiac human work separately so I don't overstate it.

One methodological note for your file: TB4's proposed mechanisms (actin sequestration, cell migration, angiogenesis) are pleiotropic, which is a double-edged sword. Broad mechanism makes for exciting reviews but also makes clean efficacy trials harder to design and interpret. When you log the reviews, note which are primary-data-driven versus narrative, the narrative ones tend to recycle the same rodent studies.
