Total newcomer question. I keep seeing 'search first' in replies and I don't want to be the person reposting something answered fifty times. What's the actual best way to find existing discussion here?
Is there a filter for compound name vs. category? And is there a way to see the higher-quality older threads rather than just newest-first?
Top-right search box takes quoted phrases, so '"tendon"' vs tendon healing gives different results. For a specific compound, search the compound name and then sort by replies rather than date — the threads with the most back-and-forth are usually where the literature actually got dug into.
Also worth browsing each compound's category directly; a lot of the meatiest stuff is old and won't surface in a keyword search if people used slang.
Tip that took me too long to learn: search abbreviations AND full names separately. People write 'GHK' and 'GHK-Cu' and 'copper peptide' interchangeably, and search doesn't merge them. Do all three and you'll find threads you'd otherwise miss.
