Welcome to the cosmetic peptide corner of peptides.cx. This is where we talk about the research literature on GHK-Cu, Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-8), Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide), SNAP-8, and pigmentation-related peptides, plus the general science of collagen, skin barrier, and hair. It is a place to learn and compare notes, not a clinic.

A few ground rules so this stays useful and stays online. This is an educational community, not medical advice. Please do not ask for or post dosing protocols, personalized 'what should I use' plans, or reconstitution/injection walkthroughs. Share experiences as personal anecdote, never as a recommendation for someone else. No sourcing, vendor links, or discount codes in this category, there is a dedicated vendor space for that.

When you cite a benefit, try to link the actual study or review rather than a product page, and be honest about how strong or thin the evidence is. A lot of topical peptide research is small, industry-funded, or in-vitro only, and saying so builds trust.

If you are making a health decision, talk to a qualified professional who knows your history. Have fun, be kind, cite your sources.

Thanks for setting the tone. Coming from a couple of other forums where every thread turned into 'just buy X and use Y', a science-first space is genuinely refreshing. Bookmarked.

Appreciated the note about industry-funded studies. Half the 'clinical proof' for cosmetic peptides is a manufacturer's own small in-house panel test with no control arm. Not worthless, but worth reading with a raised eyebrow. Happy this is the house style here.

Not medical advice. Content on peptides.cx is an educational and community resource. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, dosing instruction, or emergency support. Always consult a qualified medical professional before making health-related decisions.
