So much of the online conversation blends approved peptide medications with experimental research compounds as if they're the same tier of evidence. I'd like to build a clearer mental map of which peptides have actually cleared regulatory approval for a medical indication.
Off the top of my head: insulin obviously, the GLP-1 class (semaglutide, tirzepatide, etc.), and things like octreotide. I know there are more. Not looking for anything about using these, just trying to understand the landscape of what's genuinely been through approval vs what lives in the research-only bucket.
