Dihexa comes up constantly with the eye-catching claim that it's some enormous multiple more potent than BDNF at promoting synaptogenesis. When I trace that back it seems to originate from preclinical work (the Harding lab at Washington State, angiotensin IV analog, HGF/c-Met pathway).
My question: is there ANY published human clinical data on it, or is the entire case for it built on cell and rodent models? I want to calibrate how seriously to take the hype. If it's 100% preclinical I think that reframes a lot of the confident forum talk about it.
